  1. May Allaah reward the sister who asked me about the author of the above article. He is Aboo `Abdir-Rahmaan Nasser ibn Najam Alvi from Birmingham. He was a very close friend of Aboo Talhah Daawood Burbank rahimahullaah. He is a firm Salafee (one who follows the Qur~aan and Sunnah with the understanding of the Companions of Allaah’s Messenger sallAllahau `alayhi wa sallam). He is known to be upright in his Religion and truthful, meticulous in his translating and a person who rejects (religious) innovations whether it be the innovated sects of old or the modern day innovated groups and parties. Although he has not formally studied under the scholars he has been regularly attending the lessons of the known students of knowledge for many years, as well as lectures and lessons of the known Shaykhs when they visit. He also listens to the lessons of the major scholars via the internet. He has prepared materials such as the ‘grown ups’ posts on his blog as well as questions and answers study material for the aqeedah lessons which have taken place in Birmingham over the years, which have all been reviewed by Aboo Talhah Daawood Burbank rahimahullaah.

I praise no one above Allaah, and He is his reckoner, and Allaah knows best.
